I am working in the education and media field. My job is to write educational articles and make educational videos.
I studied Burmese Literature as my major in university. But during my first year, COVID-19 happened. After that, because of COVID and the political situation, I had to stop school for almost 6 years.
However, I am very thankful for one thing. In 2022, when I did not know what to do because of COVID and politics, I got a chance to study at Utopia Institute, a community school. That school changed many of my views about my environment, the community, education, and work opportunities.
Before that, I was a bit self-focused. I wanted to leave the country and live abroad because the politics was bad. But the lessons at UI made me understand about community development, national politics, human rights, and kindness between people.
The best thing I got from studying there was good friends, knowledge, and a love for my country. Even though the situation is unstable now, I want to use my knowledge in the future to build a better community and country.
Also, my current job became possible because of the connections and information I got through UI. What I learned there is very useful for my writing and educational video work.
Finally, even though I am now living and studying abroad, I am planning to return to my country soon. I want to take part in activities to improve and develop my country.

Friends, Knowledge, and Love for the community
